Ever watch Mad Men?
It was a TV series that ran for about 6 seasons (maybe 7) on AMC.
The show highlighted the lives of those working at an ad agency in New York City during the early 1960s…
At least that’s what I recall as I never saw beyond the first few episodes.
Personally, I didn't find it all that interesting.
But that first episode was really interesting, especially since the ad agency had to come up with a new way to sell tobacco since the government released studies connecting smoking to cancer.
Talk about a tough sell!
Well, fast-forward to 2024 and unless you’ve been living in a cave for the past few decades (Might have been nice during the covid years), folks on X are promoting tobacco as good because it’s anti-parasitic.
Crazy, right?
Here’s what someone had to say about tobacco’s benefits…
—---
Nicotine crosses the blood brain barrier and kills brain parasites.
There are some people I know with a super strong aversion to nicotine
I believe the parasites they are filled with are rejecting it
One of these people threw up profusely for an hour after one cig
I have to ask…
Have we really come full circle when it comes to our research?
Especially when research seemed a lot less biased than it is today?
Seems like it.
Now, with regards to that X post, the poster assumes crossing the blood-brain barrier is a good thing because it supposedly kills bad things.
Unfortunately, it’s not always black and white.
When things cross the blood-brain barrier, the effect is almost always bad.
As evidence, consider the theory of toxic bile.
When toxic bile reaches our colon, waiting to be released with the poop, it can leak beyond our intestinal walls (“leaky gut”) and enters our blood stream, causing havoc to muscles, joints, organs, and everything else it touches.
Notice how I said “toxic bile” and not just bile by itself?
There’s a difference.
We are designed to deal with bile. In fact, bile is important for clearing out the small intestine, otherwise bacteria will start camping there.
Now, someone may ask…
“What if I did a little bit of nicotine to help with my [insert condition]?”
It’s still a poison in the sense your body doesn’t want it.
In fact, the whole reason it’s classified as “anti-parasitic” is because the plant doesn’t want to be consumed…
And the smart bugs that avoid that stuff like the plague know this!
In fact, it’s not uncommon for small-time farmers to put tobacco in a water spray bottle and spray their crops so bugs stay far away.
For us humans though, specifically this X poster, chances are they believe the dose makes the poison…
But the irony is the dose of nicotine they’re using is disrupting their liver’s ability to detox over time.
And NO ONE has a “nicotine deficiency”, right?
Which makes “the dose makes the poison” irrelevant when toxins never leave the body as quickly as they should.
This is in part because of aging and accumulated toxicities…
Or when the body is missing essential minerals needed for a proper running liver…
Which is where my Nutrition Detective Keystone Minerals can help get things back on track.
In just 1 serving, you get…
>> 200% of your daily zinc
>> 200% of your daily molybdenum
>> 214% of your daily selenium
All necessary minerals for making sure your liver doesn’t skip a beat when it comes to working at its best!
This formula is a must for those looking to maintain healthy mineral levels for maximum detox…
Or for those recovering from the nutrient-zapping effects of fad diets.
